How to learn pretty much anything
Mar 4, 2024
Learning or doing something new puts pressure on the same area of the brain that feels pain. This is why just thinking and planning is enough to get you to procrastinate, the foreseen pain brings anxiety which demotivates you from actually stepping forward to accomplish a new task.
Therefore, whatever is the feeling you have, you must take the initiative to try and start doing that thing. First rule is to get started. Then you’ll stumble across different types of stimuli which are more pleasant than what you’re actually doing. This stimuli will get you distracted from your work, study or the hobby. When this happens, you should take the initiative, again to get back to your work.
Moving forward, you now have the capability to really start to learn anything, but this has to be supported by the integral part of your brain, your memory. Learning is saving to memory, and the way you know you learned something is by challenging your memory.
- Get enough sleep to allow your neurons to form new pathways and also heal.
- Exercise and also socialize to avoid depression, the hormones produced will boost your motivation.
